In case of artificial insemination, is it possible to knowingly cause a double pregnancy or set the gender of the baby?

Gender determination via chromosomes is theoretically possible, however forbidden in Germany for good reasons. We also consider this to be unethical.

The possibility of a double pregnancy is increased through the transfer of two blastocysts; this, however, cannot be guaranteed. The goal of fertility treatment is always a full single pregnancy with a healthy child. We are happy with every boy and every girl!
