Can a woman, after having undergone sterilisation, be pregnant again?In case the woman wishes to have children again, the sterilisation can be reversed, or in vitro fertilisation can be performed. The chances for pregnancy after operational reversal (abdominal incision) lie at about 50%; the chances in case of fertilisation outside of the body (in vitro fertilisation) lie, depending on the woman's age, at about 20-40% per trial (after three trials at about 70%). |
